A Texas ABC information station reported Friday that the college “terminated” Ghosh, a biology professor, concerning a week after he was charged on Sept. 25. Jesse Quackenbush, Ghosh’s attorney, told Inside Greater Ed that the teacher actually “retired for health factors.”

One plaintiff is named in the court papers, yet Within Greater Ed was unable to reach them Monday. A spokesperson for the college said it “does not discuss personnel matters or recurring examinations.”
